 Vintage Port for Enjoyment

There seems to be something special about fall and winter that makes Vintage Port very attractive. Perhaps the cold, perhaps the lingering over dinner, perhaps because we just think about Vintage Port more at this time. Here are some wines from classic vintages, now completely mature and ready to drink. From Corti Brothers reserve, we have some examples of now extinct English bottled Vintage Port. (Up to 1974, most Vintage Port was bottled by merchants in England not by the shippers in Portugal.) This is probably your last chance to taste these bottlings.
